As a Senior Product Designer, you will gather feedback from users and use this knowledge to improve the product experience. You will be an advocate for users, working to unify the product experience across the platform by leading the construction and maintenance of our design system. Ultimately, you will help create a world-class remittance solution.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the end-to-end design process for new and existing products, from ideation to launch.
Work directly with product and engineering teams to better understand technical aspects, business needs, and user needs.
Make data-driven design decisions and map user journeys and flows.
Sketch, wireframe, and mockup screens and user flows iteratively in varying degrees of fidelity.
Prepare and present design proposals to the team and prepare screens and components for handoff to the engineering team.
Collaborate with the design team to develop and maintain a cohesive design system.
Engage in backlog negotiation with product and engineering peers.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in design or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
Inquisitive and a critical thinker with strong organizational skills.
Curious about what drives people to behave a certain way and what goes into their decision-making process.
Experience with design thinking and human-centered methodologies.
Experienced with Figma, with a deep understanding of all of its features and functionalities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.
Nice to have: Experience in Financial Services or with complex applications, prior experience working with large distributed global teams, experience with highly regulated products, and a strong interest in digital payment solutions.
