Overview
An early-stage startup is seeking a Founding Engineer to help develop its product platform, scale for growth, and shape company culture. As one of the first technical hires, you’ll have a significant impact on the product roadmap and technical direction.

Role Description
In this position, you will play a central role in building a product that customers use daily. Beyond writing code, you’ll be expected to:
Understand customer needs: Engage with customers to gather feedback, refine product requirements, and identify new opportunities.
Architect scalable systems: Design and implement solutions with future growth in mind.
Launch and iterate: Oversee the full lifecycle of features—from idea to deployment—then analyze and refine based on data.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work alongside teammates in product, design, and customer success to deliver value.
Adapt and solve problems: Step in wherever needed to help ensure product success, whether that’s data analysis, customer onboarding, or infrastructure improvements.
As an early-stage startup, dedication and flexibility are crucial. You may find yourself working outside typical hours to meet deadlines or handle urgent customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
Feature Development: Own features end-to-end—from specification through launch and iteration.
Integrations: Build integrations with third-party systems to expand market reach and improve user workflows.
Infrastructure Optimization: Enhance continuous integration/deployment pipelines and overall system reliability.
On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call duties to ensure quick responses to any technical issues.

Key Qualifications
Clean, Reusable Code: A track record of writing maintainable, testable software.
